“Umayyad” is inspired by the iconic architecture of the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus, a structure built between 705 and 715 CE during the Umayyad Caliphate. It stands on a site that has been a place of worship since the Iron Age, featuring grand arches and vibrant mosaics, one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities.
